Opera Unite
Spent the afternoon playing around with Opera Unite. Opera Unite turns the web browser into a server. Now I’ve seen some people compare it to drop.io or tonido.com. Not the same thing though, you can actually run web applications on Unite.
Bought My First iPhone App
I bought my first iPhone application today. Considering that I was on line for an hour the day the first iPhone launched, you could say I’ve been hesitant. My hesitation is due to the lack of persuasive offerings available when the app store was originally released.
If I Were King
If were king, I would make a law stating that no blogger is allowed to refer to a company as successful if it doesn’t make a profit. This would remove all those Twitter and facebook stories from my feeds. Why is everyone so quick to mimic and hype up companies that make no money? What country am I living in?
“The Website” is not the marketing tool
In this article I will be referring to “The Website“, meaning; a website an individual uses for their own goods or services. The Website for as long as I can remember has almost always been referred to as a marketing tool. The Website is built as a way to attrach potential customers and promote goods or services. [...]
SEO Keywords: A Guide
When starting out, the general approach is to generate a collection of keywords, a collection that guides us throught the on page SEO formatting as well as off page link building. The keywords are initially identified through research using tools offered by the various search engines and a variety of websites (example: SEO Moz). The keywords are then implemented when deciding page titles, page file names, description, H1 tags, keyword Meta tags, and in page content. Off page SEO is a tedious task of going out and building up links to your website. Keywords will guide you through selecting the sites to link from and to; also, they will help when deciding how to title the links themselves.

Aptana Project Creation in Vista
I got myself a new laptop two days ago. Of course this mean I had to leave XP behind and embrace Vista. Of the many new things I had to get use to, the main one of course was the security. Almost every action results in a prompt. I think my girlfriend is starting to get annoyed. Anyway, I installed Aptana and tried to create a project. In doing so I got an error stating that Aptana was unable to create the “.project” file. To fix this I had to fiddle with the default security settings.
Two girls one app: A comment on social application design
I went out to a club last night. While there I got into a conversation with a couple of girls. One of them asked me what I did. I told them what I did, and that I’m currently working on developing an application for Facebook. The first girl to respond (girl1) used both MySpace and Facebook, the other (girl2), only used MySpace.
